The frame is flimsy. I had to add a pipe around the top frame to support the shape and add a flat square on the bottom to hold my 2 kg dog. It looks like it is meant for just sitting on the seat. My current dog seat is in the air so my dog can see through the window so I made a few adjustments. It hangs on the top of the seat now so my chihuahua can look through the window
